Our client, one the biggest global advertising and media groups (with companies such as Saatchi and Saatchi, and Fallon) sought to build a robust and secure network infrastructure for the group, with the expectation of substantial savings.
Sigma's challenge was to enhance the existing group-wide IT infrastructure and reduce costs at a time of rapid expansion in the client's operations. The task required Sigma to display our creative design and build IT capability
Sigma deployed a network to meet the client's requirements in two stages. First, we rationalised and restructured the client's Internet connectivity. At that point we introduced a Border Gateway Protocol (BPG) environment with a single Registered Autonomous Number (ASN). Second, we configured the network to route traffic through the least-utilised connection. By connecting each site individually, we built in redundancy in case of any device or circuit failure, thus ensuring a guaranteed communication path.
Throughout, Sigma maintained the client's security via secure Virtual Private Networks using advanced encryption and tunneling techniques.
